Goodbye, my Oreo

After a tough fight with age-related illnesses, little Oreo went on her journey this afternoon to Rainbow Bridge. She was such a special bunny to us and it was especially tough to lose her because she was our vey first rescue. When we found her at a high-kill animal shelter over 9 years ago, she was placed in a holding area dubbed "death row" and was only given one week to live due to over population at the shelter. She was an abandoned bunny, only about 3 months old when we got her and we are lucky to have found her at the right time. Goodbye for now my little Oreo. Run free and do bunny twirls under the rainbow. Mama misses you terribly.
