Taking a Break

Our annual Hula Ho'ike (performance) is about month away and I will be taking a break until then (with maybe a few posts here and there). Practice sessions are getting longer, costumes are getting finished, and dress rehearsal is coming up. Until then, Aloha and malama pono (take care)!

Must Watch: Ace of Cakes

I am so intrigued by Ace of Cakes on the Food Network. It showcases culinary skill, creativity and the use of innovative materials and tools by master pastry chef, Duff Goldman, who owns a quaint little bakery in Baltimore called Charm City Cakes.

His cakes are absolutely gorgeous. I can only imagine how they look (and taste) in person!
